CXD is a kind of vertical multistage centrifugal pump, which is driven by an efficient electric motor. The motor shaft is connected directly to the pump shaft via a coupling. The pressure-resistant cylinder and flow line components are installed between the pump head and the inlet & outlet parts with retaining bolts. The inlet and outlet are located at the bottom of the pump in the same plane. Pumps of this type can be equipped with intelligent guards to prevent them from running in out-of-phase, and overloaded conditions.
